MARCH 9, 2007

Hi Friends,

Thanks again for dropping by to keep updated with our progress.

Unlike last season where we were forever in a flurry of different events, travelling backwards and forwards to America, competitions and discovering more of the UK, Chrissy and I now have time to spend at home training and preparing for the season ahead. A luxury we didn't get last year. We have been working on basic skating together and becoming more of a couple. Jimmy is putting us through our paces and I am sure we will reap the benefits.

Last month we worked with Mathew Gates again on our choreography but this time he travelled here to Sheffield to work with us. Matt choreographed our new free dance to selections from the movie "The Mission". We all found it much easier to create this time around.  Not only do we understand working with Matt better but Chrissy and I have much more experience obviously. We are really pleased with what has been created and look forward to training it hard and performing with it later in the year.

This month Chrissy and I share our birthday on the 21st. As a birthday treat we are going to go to London on the 24th and watch the Play "Equus" with Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe which should be fun. Chrissy is taking another trip this month to visit Stonehenge - apparently a must for any travelling American! I am going home to see my family next weekend and will spend time with my mum on Mothering Sunday.  My aunt and uncle who live in Melbourne are travelling and will be in Glasgow when I go home so it will be nice to see them too.

Did I not say it's been a calm month where we are spending time at home training??? Honestly we will get some practice in amidst our jaunts!

Best wishes to you all and hope you are enjoying the longer days and spring ahead!:-)

Mark
