Happy Easter!

I hope yours was fantastic! On March 21, Mark and I celebrated our birthdays. It’s really enjoyable to share the same birthday! Even more recently, Mark and I visited different countries for spring break. I visited my family in Colorado Springs, and Mark visited his brother in Italy with the rest of his family.

It was great to see my dad and brother! I’m really close to my family, and my brother, Will, who is moving to San Diego, is a very close friend of mine. It’s going to be exciting to visit him in California! I got to visit with Sandy Hess, my coach in Colorado Springs, and it was great to catch up with her! It was really nice to see everyone at the World Arena (my old rink), and of course, it was also great to meet up with a friend of mine since age seven in Colorado Springs!

Every time I go back to America, I have to get the few necessities I can’t get over here in England. I had to make a couple of trips to Denver to make sure I got all my errands in while I was there. The number 1 place where I absolutely have to go while I’m in America is Victoria’s Secret! They have everything there from fragrances, self-tanners, and make-up to, of course, the world’s best lingerie. :) Whoops, did that sound like a commercial for them? :) They don’t have a Victoria’s Secret anywhere in Great Britain that I’ve found, and believe me I’ve looked. If I’m mistaken and there is one that you know about, please let me know!!! lol! Another of my favorite (or favourite for British spelling) brands is MAC make-up. They do carry MAC in England, but it is much cheaper to buy in America!

Anyways, sorry about the digression. It was a fabulous trip! I got plenty of driving in while I was there, and, now that I’m 17, I can even get my license in England! Funny enough, I’ll be a new driver here although I’ve been driving alone for over a year in America! I’m hoping to take my driving test in Great Britain sometime this summer. Right now I’m way too busy with my college semester ending May 25 and most of the assignments coming at the end of the semester in addition to my acting two main roles in two plays and preparing a vocal performance. Although it may sound like a busy schedule, I love having a busy lifestyle!

Mark and I are very excited to be back and training hard! We really are great friends and always update each other and keep in close contact while we’re away. Although we love travelling, it is always hard for us to be away from training with each other! We will also be getting costumes soon and that is a very fun, although very expensive, time of the year!

Mark will be updating you next month. Don’t forget to visit our photo page and see where and what we have been up to!

Cheers!
