Dear Friends,
When the time arrives to report back to you all on our month it always seems like a real challenge to remember all that has gone on each time. We seem to be in a constant whirlwind of events and this past month is no exception!
Despite not having competitions this month we have been busy training in preparation for the last events of the season, the next being Deeside IJS event in two weeks time. Preparation has been going well and we are looking forward to competing again.
Last month a definite highlight was having Sandy come over to visit. It was wonderful to see her again and have her expert wisdom on our skating for a weekend.
In addition to Sandy's arrival, Ice Sheffield was buzzing with international skaters and ISU dignitaries due to the junior grand prix event held here. Chrissy and I enjoyed seeing everyone and watching the competition.
Winter is approaching but it is bringing with it some beautiful crisp and sunny weather. Long may that continue!
