The previous month was very busy!  I completed the first year of my bachelor’s degree on May 25^th.  The whole month of May was very hectic with skating and my bachelor’s degree work.  I was frequently writing essays, portfolios, giving presentations, and performing.  I performed in main roles in two acting performances and gave a musical theatre vocal performance.  This week I received my grades, which are A’s in all of my modules, for an overall A for my first year at university level!   

Now I have 4 months break for summer, which is fantastic for our skating!  It has been great being able to intensify our training.  We’ve been busy getting our costumes, getting many cuts of our OD music, choreographing our OD, and going to Nottingham to have our OD choreographed by Phil Askew.  Phil is great to work with and has many innovative ideas, which we are excited to perform for you this year!  We are also preparing for our skating trip to New York!  We will be leaving on July 11^th to train in New York and Connecticut.  We’re looking forward to many new adventures!
