Dear Friends,
Thanks again for checking out our website and keeping up to date with our news. Like we said in our last journal entry – it is very special to have fans of our skating and we are both very grateful. I am currently in the middle of a week's holiday! Chrissy and her mum spent last weekend in Geneva, Switzerland while my family and I spent the weekend in Stockholm, Sweden. It is a luxury to spend a week in Scotland with my family now although I am already eager to return to skating with Chrissy so we can have more fun improving our skating.
Since our last journal entry we have spent a lot of time investigating our plans for next season. We are close to finalising our music choices for free dance and keen to create a fabulous programme. Besides music research we have started work on next year's compulsory dances which we both enjoy, especially the new “Sunshine Quickstep” which provides some fun and innovative steps for a compulsory.
Having trained together for over 20 months, Chrissy and I understand each other more and more everyday. I think now we can utilize that to approach our training with even more focus in order to make greater improvements. Watch this space for next season! We plan on surprising you all!
February will give us the chance to perform in Scotland which we rarely get to do. On the 17th we will be taking part in the Murrayfield ice rink show. Thereafter we will be preparing for our next trip to work with Sandy in March. The timing of that trip will set the season off well and I am sure she will make big inroads to our goals for the year.
