December 15, 2006

Dear all,

Thanks again for dropping by our website.  Chrissy and I have had a really happy month and the weeks ahead look to be equally exciting.

Towards the end of November Chrissy’s health started to take a turn around and—all being well—Chrissy is free from glandular fever.  Chrissy coped remarkably well when ill—especially taking into consideration her college and skating commitments.  However it has not been until her recovery that we can appreciate how much it affected training. Since our last competition mid-late November we feel we’ve really been able to work hard and improve which has been wonderful!

Last week we performed in the Ice Sheffield Christmas show which was so much fun.  We did O.D. and exhibition—pictures to follow.  We truly love performing and crave opportunities to do so.  In between shows we happily planned our future Torvill and Dean style travelling ice show—we just need a few world titles and Olympic gold now!

This weekend we jet set to Colorado to spend a week training with Sandy in preparation for the British Championships early January.  It will be a good boost to our training and perfect timing before the Nationals.  We are really looking forward to the competition and another chance to perform together. BRING IT ON!

I hope the next journal entry brings more positive news and in meantime I wish you all the very best for a joyful Christmas and much health, happiness and successes in 2007!

Mark :-)
