Chrissy competed in roller skating dance with her brother, Will, at ages 5 and 6. She qualified for roller skating nationals in both solo and team dance at age 6. Chrissy began ice skating at age 6½ in Vail, Colorado. Chrissy competed in pairs with Will from ages 6-11. They medaled twice at Junior Nationals. Chrissy competed in ice dance for three years with Will. Chrissy also competed in intermediate dance with Harry Schroeder and junior dance with Stephen Chasman. Chrissy was a quadruple gold medalist at age 14, having passed her USFSA gold tests in moves in the field, pairs, free skating, and dance. Chrissy was a DJ with Will’s DJ business, Dancing DJ Productions. She was also the dancer for the business. Chrissy trained in Goju Ryu Karate and was a gold medalist at Karate Junior Olympics in December 2005. Chrissy was always homeschooled except for taking college astronomy and college algebra as a concurrent student at age 15. Chrissy graduated from high school at age 16 in May 2006.
